I have so much to say ...

yet I'm too nauseous to type it all out. But I will, I promise!

First, let's get the news out of the way. We had our ultrasound this morning. 3 sacs still there. 3 fetal poles. 3 beating hearts. I think the three adults in the rooms may have had our hearts stop for a second.

So. That's the deal. I'm pregnant with my sister's triplets. She's going to owe me so much. But right now I really just want her to take the Boots away and never give her back, as she is driving me up the wall. But that's a story for another day when I feel better (come back in 10 weeks, or so.)

I'm excited. I really am. I'm also scared. I'm also so anxious for this to go quickly so my sister can be done with her cancer treatment, and I can hand over her babies.

Thank you all for checking in on me. I will do my best to put up a real update this weekend ... with pics and everything!!

Holy Cow!!

Congrats, I can understand the excitement and overwhelmement all at the same time. Sorry about all the morning sickness!

I can just see your family gatherings a few years from now, the twins instigating all sorts of trouble with those triplets, fun fun!!

Holy crap--can I say that here? :) Wow--I hope your sister got you a really nice Christmas gift! Seriously, you rock. Document the whole journey, turn it into a bestselling book (I can just picture the Today segment now) and retire!

:) As for the Boots, with both of my girls, being on the cusp of two was just a horrendous age. I can honestly say it was the worst (check back in with me during the teen years for an update). They woke up horrendously early (like sometimes in the 4s!!) and were pretty much miserable all day because they were tired--oh the irony. I can't imagine dealing with them at that age along with a same age sibling and being pregnant with multiples. Do whatever you need to do to survive...And, a big huge congrats to your sister on the little ones!

HUGE HUGE congrats, I'm just so glad it worked - and yes she'll owe you big, lol.

Good luck with this precious journey, I hope the trips are easy on your body ;) :)

Wow.
That's a lot of babies in there!
Congrats to your sister and to you! (except for the terrible nausea of course - no congrats for that - I'm hoping that it eases up on you sooner rather than later)
I think this officially gives you a golden ticket to be pampered by absolutely everyone you know.
I hope that Boots eases up on you too because dealing with that age with as tired as I'm sure you are would be no walk in the park.
You are quite the sister to be doing this and I agree - I hope that you got some extra good Christmas gifts this year!!
