Hi all ...

I don't have too much to say ... but wanted to check in. I'm about 17 1/2 weeks ... how crazy is that? I'm feeling a lot better ... the morning sickness is gone finally. I'm still pretty tired, but that's about the extent of it. So I'm enjoying what I consider the "honeymoon" phase right now.

My kids are still insane and driving me crazy. They just moved up into the next classroom at school ... and in this room they start potty training them! Wow. The teacher already said that Boots is the potty training champ. She always is willing to sit down on the potty and try. Moop is willing to try too, but she said it's a little bit more of a fight to get him into the bathroom. No worries though, and no pressure. They will get there when they get there.

I can't believe they are going to be 2 in 3 weeks! OMG! Where the heck has the time gone??? They are just having an explosion of words and thoughts ... and they are like two little parrots. The just mimic EVERYTHING we say. Which is great, as well as somewhat annoying. hehe.

The original plan was for us to do a really low-key, immediate family only parent at our house, just cake, and thats it. Then my sister offered up her house, she has a big finished basement, so that we could extend to party to our cousins and their children as well. Well, my sister ended up selling her house in about 5 minutes, and is moving out by the end of March. And being that the party is scheduled for April 5th, we needed to find a new place. So we are doing it at a local VFW, but here's the kicker. My super wonderful sister has gotten them the coolest present. Two guys are coming to the party, one dresses up like Elmo, and you can take pics with him, and all kinds of stuff. And then they do face painting and balloon animals and all kinds of musical games. I hope the kids love it and don't cry. But honestly, it could go either way.

And at last, here are two super cute pics of the kids!
Cute Boot

Cute Moop

Enjoy,
Caba

OMG...2 in a few weeks!!! They are looking so much bigger to me! Sounds like you have quite the party set up! They are going to go bezerk when they see Elmo in live! ;o) I can't wait to see pix!

I'm happy to hear your nausea is no longer an issue. Make sure you get plenty of R & R!!!!

You are right! It can go either way with kids and big verisons of their cartoon favorites. We had a baptism a while back and my cousin hired Teletubbies to come the the baptism. 75% of the kids there were frightened by the real life teletubbies and 25% were sooooooo happy!!

Good luck!
