So, I'm as slow as always, but I was interviewed by Stacie over at Heeeeere Storkey, Storkey! Since I'm such a sucky blogger as of late, I'm not going to put the directions up on my blog, which would allow me to interview you, as I know I would never get around to it!
So, here are the questions I received from the lovely Stacie.
1. I know you were friends with your husband for a long while before you got married, so I was wondering about those early days. How did you and your husband meet, and who was ready to move on to dating first--him or you?
Ah, the love story of me and DH. It's SUCH a good one. I met my husband during our first Calculus class, freshman year of college. He had met one of the girls who lived on my floor, so she introduced us. Then we proceeded to have almost every single class together because we were both computer science majors (aka Dorks). I think we both had a slight crush on each other very quickly, but I had a boyfriend back home. Not that that stopped me. Yeah, I cheated on my boyfriend with my DH, but ended up ending things with DH after about a month or two. From that point on, we became the best of friends, and didn't rekindle our romance until like 8 years late. And by that time, I was persuing him. Don't get me wrong, I knew he wanted me ... hehe. He just didn't know yet, so I had to remind him of how great I was. He remembered.
2. You have an adorable set of twins. Do you and your husband plan on having any more children?
Ya know, this question lead to a long discussion between me and DH. Obviously we have no immediate plans since I'm pregnant with someone elses babies, but I'm not sure I even know the answer to this. Right now, my kids are driving me up the wall, so I want to say no. But there is a teeny tiny part of me that would maybe want another. But then I think about IVF. And how my company now does offer coverage, but only 10K lifetime max. So maybe that's one cycle. And if that cycle fails, we would have to start paying out of pocket. And say we do that cycle, how many do we put back in? I put in two with my twins, and ended up with twins. We put in 4 with my sister, and originally ended up with triplets. I CAN NOT have another set of twins, but I don't know if I could just transfer 1 in! There is so much to think about when you are dealing with infertility. So the short answer is, we don't know. I would say right now that we are probably done, but never say never.
3. Raising twins (and being pregnant!) is hard work. What is your favorite way to relax after a stressful day?
Is smoke pot an acceptable answer? Nah, I'm teasing. Right now, all I want to do is lay in bed and watch tv. It's not exciting, but it's true. Every day seems to be stressful. Between working full time, raising the kids, being pregnant, etc. All I want to do is sleep. I love sleep.
4. Speaking of being pregnant, it is amazing that you were carrying triplets and now twins for you sister and brother-in-law. Could you tell about some of the joys and/or concerns you've experienced on this journey?
This journey is amazing. I can't even put into words how honored I feel that my sister trusts me with something so important. I see my sister and her husband with my kids, and they are AMAZING. They are going to make the best parents, and I feel lucky to be able to help bring their dreams to reality. As for the concerns, I think I was most worried about my DH. I call him the "unsung hero" of this journey. I feel like I'm getting a lot of the recognition for being such a "great sister", but my DH is doing all the work! He's the one who gets up with the kids EVERY SINGLE DAY to let me sleep. He gets them ready in the morning and off to daycare. He picks them up from daycare. He makes dinner, he gets them ready for bed. I haven't changed a diaper in ages. He is just doing everything, and I was worried about how this would affect him. But, as usual, he rises above it all. He constantly tells me how much it's worth it, how much he loves my sis and her husband, and how excited he is for them. He is really the more selfless one of the two of us.
5. If you could go anywhere in the world (money not an issue), where would it be and why?
Well, there are a lot of places I would love to go that I haven't been yet, like Greece, Fiji and Venice. But I loved Hawaii, Ireland and Germany. So if money is no object, them I'm going to all of those places! Since I haven't been to the first three, I have no real reason for wanting to go except that I heard they are all beautiful. I went to Hawaii on my honeymoon and loved it, so I would love to go back. DH and I went with our best friends to Ireland, and he told me he loved me for the first time in this castle! And Germany I went with my parents and husband a few years ago, my Dad was born and raised there, and it was a beautiful country that I would love to see again!
Hope you enjoyed my answers!

Some Bittersweet News ...
So, it's been a while again. Mostly because I'm tired, sick, and just don't have all that much to say. Until today.
So, we had a Drs appt today. Unfortunately, one of the trips is no longer with us. There was no heartbeat. The baby was measuring about a week behind, so whatever happened, happened sometime last week. Of course, my sister is sad, but the good news is that the other two are doing great ... moving like mad, and measuring right on schedule, with great strong heartbeats.
On other exciting baby front news, I didn't mention that we had a CVS done. Due to my sister's age, we decided to do genetic testing. We also got those results today. Both babies are wonderful and healthy. Oh, and a boy and girl!!!
Yes, one of each, and they are VERY excited.
So, that's the update. I'm excited for this weekend. My parents are taking the kids, and DH and I are planning on relaxing and taking it easy.
I'll update soon, I promise!
